She completed a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Western Sydney in 2001 and has been a speaker in her field of Special Education, particularly in the area of Inclusion, both locally and in South Africa. An adjunct lecturer in Special Education with the National Institute for Christian Education for a number of years, Sue also presents a one day accredited Professional Learning course on Inclusive Education.
Sue has a passion for Christian education; a heartfelt desire to see all students, particularly those with special learning needs, succeed in an inclusive educational environment. She has a corresponding desire to encourage and support teachers and parents of these students. She loves talking to teachers and students about teaching and learning, and how they keep her on her toes! She believes that The National Institute is the most effective vehicle for challenging and equipping all Christian educators and leaders.
Sue has attended Doonside Anglican Church for over 34 years where she has been involved in children’s and women’s ministries. In her spare time she loves patchwork and quilting, happily ever after feel good movies and spending precious time with her lovely extensive family, including her eight gorgeous grandchildren.
Sue is a fellow of the Christian Educators' Professional Association
