EDU595 │ Elective Subject │ 10 credit points
Overview
Research Methods in Education explores the foundation of research methods in an education setting. Positioning research in terms of our participation in God’s purposes through systematically searching for, and revealing His presence in and around us, students explore a range of different research paradigms and methodological approaches such as qualitative, quantitative and mixed research, including the methods they employ. This subject provides a solid basis for the future practice of research in education whether in capstone subjects or beyond. As a pre- to all capstone research subjects, students will build an actionable research proposal, applying the breadth of research method principles to their learning.
